Our
Mission
Charteris Foundation’s purpose is to
support police and fire chaplaincy. The
Foundation provides support for local chaplains,
facilitates chaplaincy projects, and promotes
chaplaincy training and education.
Company Profile
Charteris Foundation was founded in 1992 as a
private, religious, charitable non-profit
501(c)(3) organization.
The
Foundation is run by an acting Board of
Directors and an Advisory Board of Directors.
Directors are made up of business men and women
and representatives from the Departments that
our chaplains serve.

Day to
day operations are run by Charteris' Founder and
Executive Director, Dr. Tim Klerekoper.
The
Foundation chaplains are funded by monetary
gifts from local churches, civic groups, and
individuals.
